How does it work?

Waiting-List is an electronic waiting list for hotels.

The users will select one or more destinations, and each week establishments will offer a number of rooms for the weekend at below market price, which they predict would have been empty for the weekend.

Users who have selected one or more destinations will receive an email every week on Wednesday, with a link for them to view the establishments and destinations available for the following weekend.

The link that is sent is dynamic, so that each time a user clicks on it they will be shown the establishments that are available at that time. Once an establishment has booked all of the rooms they were offering as part of the program, its listing will go away.

Since the prices are well below market rates, the rates' terms and conditions are strict and very specific, as detailed below:

  1. The rooms are priced at 50 euros per night for two people in a double room (one or two beds).
  2. Reservations are always made for check in to be on Friday and check out on Sunday. Single nights cannot be booked.
  3. Extra beds cannot be booked through the Waiting-List program.
  4. The rate does not include breakfast. It includes taxes or fees if any.
  5. A maximum of five rooms may be reserved per user, and once the reservation is made, name changes are not permitted.
  6. Reservations are guaranteed and may be canceled up to 24 hours before the arrival date free of charge. In the case that the guest does not cancel their reservation and does not use their room, the hotel will charge the amount for the first night to every unused room using the card provided by the registration holder.
